Tanjore Painting - Murugan - Semi Embossed - 18x14 inch - WL6010

A Thanjavur painting, built by hand, layer by layer.

Tanjai Chitram is the classical painting tradition of Thanjavur, shaped in the royal courts of the town. Each piece is drawn by hand, its relief raised in gesso and laid with gold foil before the colour work begins. No two pieces are exactly alike.

Product: Tanjore painting of Lord Murugan.
Material: Wood
Here's a Tanjore painting featuring Lord Murugan beautifully hand painted by award winning artists.
It comes in a teak wood mani type frame in dark brown colour.
The painting is reputed for the use of gold foil, stone work and vibrant colors.
It can ideally be placed in showrooms, meditation halls, temples, and pooja rooms.
It is a premium gift option for newly weds, Housewarming, 60th birthday celebrations, or at any traditional events.
Note: Semi embossed style gives a 2D look, painting will be flat and gold work will be projected. This is the reason for semi embossed paintings to be priced higher compared to flat work (normal) style. Size includes frame.
